In these days of global warming, what could be Hotter than doing what you can to keep the planet a little bit cooler?  Helping to keep the planet cool while getting free stuff!

Freecycle.org is website you can join (for free, of course), where people exchange stuff they would have otherwise thrown away.  Its basically collection of groups around the globe where you can give something you don't want anymore to someone else, or get something you do want from someone you otherwise would never have met- like the 'leave a penny, take a penny' jars at convenience stores except on a large scale.

Got a sofa you don't know how to get rid of?  Don't pay someone to haul it away- log on here, and see if someone'll take it for free.  It's a win-win-win (the 3rd win is for Planet Earth) situation.

First there were street bands.  Then there were garage bands.  Now the Hot thing for bands to be is a MySpace band.

Yes, it's not just for teens and the predators who stalk them; MySpace is actually the place to get noticed for a lot of rising rock musicians (and heaps of other types) right now.
