Ever
dream of making a movie? Well now you can!
One
of the hottest film projects this year is The
1 Second Film, a film project that anyone can help
produce, just by sending them some production money.
You'll get a real screen credit at the end of the film
(which is soon, given that the film itself will only
last... one second). For $1, you'll be credited as
an Associate Producer, more than $10 as a Producer, and
if you're in the top 10 of all contributors (about $525
right now), Executive Producer! Some big names in
Hollywood have already signed on, like Christina Ricci.
Sign up today to see your name alongside theirs!
Need
some extra incentive? Any 'profit' from the
production will go to The
Global Fund for Women. |

Speaking
of films, it's time for the Singapore Film Festival- in
fact, it's been going on for a week already! All
is not lost, though, if you'd still like to see
something.
Two
of our favourite concepts have coincided this year, for
double Hotliness: Their shorts festival, and FREE!
We love to go to see groups of short films at film
festivals because there's usually at least one or two
things in the mix that we like, and a few that are OK,
to balance out the ineviable "what was the point of
that?!" flick. Short films are being
shown four times this year, all at the Goethe Institute,
on Saturday April 22nd, and Sunday the 23rd at 4pm &
7pm. Each showing has different films, so go to
their website to see what's on when. |
